Quickstart — pick your stack
Mnemosyne is built to disappear into whatever you already use. Every flow
below ends with a working recall call against a live instance.
Mnemosyne never requires an OpenAI key, a Redis, or any cloud service. The defaults run with PostgreSQL only. Embeddings, hot tier, telemetry — all opt-in.
Which stack is right for me?

All four paths use the same database schema and the same API surface. You can start on one and switch to another without losing data.
